Documentation
Install guides, feature references, and troubleshooting for the Authium browser extension and Premium plans.

Getting started
Install the extension
Download Authium for Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Firefox from the extension store. Open the popup, create a master password, and add your first TOTP account by scanning a QR code or entering a secret manually.
Create your vault
Your vault is encrypted locally with AES-256. Choose a strong master password and save your recovery codes offline — we cannot reset a lost password because of our zero-knowledge design.
Sign in for Premium
Pro and Team features require an Authium account. Use email/password or Google sign-in from the extension popup or this website. Your subscription syncs to the extension automatically after license validation.
Core features
Copy & autofill OTP codes
Click an account in the popup to copy the current code, or enable OTP autofill to inject the code into the active tab after you grant optional host permissions.
Command palette (Ctrl+K)
Search accounts instantly from the popup without scrolling. Keyboard-first navigation helps power users move through large vaults quickly.
Import & QR scan
Import secrets from other authenticators, scan QR codes with your camera, or use tab QR import to decode a setup code from an open browser tab — processing stays on-device.
Pro features
Login Copilot
Enable Login Copilot in Settings while your vault is unlocked. A floating chip appears on pages with 2FA fields, suggests the best matching account, and fills the OTP with one click.
Encrypted cloud sync
Sync encrypted vault blobs across devices. Only ciphertext leaves your device; account labels inside the blob remain encrypted with your master password.
Premium theme templates
Choose from seven appearance palettes in Settings → Appearance. Theme and light/dark mode sync to your Authium profile when signed in.
Team features
Shared Team Vault
Team admins publish shared OTP accounts encrypted with a Team Access Code. Members pull updates securely; push, pull, and membership events are written to audit logs.
Roles & access
Team owners manage membership and vault publishing. Each member keeps a personal encrypted vault; shared entries are distributed through the team vault channel.
Troubleshooting
Codes out of sync
Enable time calibration in extension settings if codes are rejected. Ensure your device clock is accurate and the secret was imported correctly.
Google sign-in issues
If OAuth fails in the extension, reload the extension from chrome://extensions and retry. Ensure popups are allowed for authium.app during the callback.
